Brief: Write down 12 - 24 brief observations during a short walk or journey.
I decided to use the location for my second assignment for this exercise. It involved going for a walk through a meadow that I had never visited before.
During my journey, I came across evidence of others' journeys: a skip, a tyre, some wool. With the housing estate and train line nearby, it was clear that this could be defined as being part of the 'edgelands'.
Therefore for this exercise I wanted to weave the word 'edgelands' through words that were related to what I could see (below). I decided to put 'edgelands' through the middle, because an edgeland is the place between two other zones.
